This place was very shady. I desperately took this appointment because I needed to be seen. There wasn’t transparency in billing or an explanation for why I was being charged so much money. It was rather shocking because I have good insurance. Additionally, I didn’t even get what I had booked for. I waited for over 30 minutes in the waiting room. My appointment felt incredibly rushed. The PA was very quick to prescribe me a drug and send me on my way, which isn’t on brand with their holistic image they project online. He didn’t spend any time talking through other things I could do to resolve my condition. I understand clinics get busy, but they never should’ve taken my appointment if they weren’t willing to care for me as a patient. They really just wanted to take my money and get rid of me as soon as they could. It was incredibly transactional and unprofessional. Needless to mention that the patient bathroom I used had a faucet that didn’t even work. I truly wish I never booked this appointment, I left in tears, robbed of my money and time, and still struggling with my condition. Run far away from this place, don’t do what I did.
I had a great experience. Everybody is lovely and very helpful. The doctor was very attentive, knowledgeable and made me feel listed to and comfortable to ask so many questions during my appointment . I didn’t feel rushed at all like other clinics. It’s my second time there and I loved it.
Switched from my PCP in the suburbs and established with Aayu clinics. So happy with the vast availability of appointments offered 7 days a week. I’ve had the pleasure of being seen by Lauren and Ross. Both two amazing PAs. I always feel listened to and am comfortable asking questions when I’m there or over the phone with their lovely and accommodating desk staff. I’m never rushed and feel respected when there. Always sending friends their way!
Fantastic in every respect. I was a walk-in suffering from gastrointestinal distress. They saw me quickly, prescribed an antibiotic, and followed up two days later. This is as good as it gets in the U.S. Five star care with warmth.
Really great primary care appt. I found the staff helpful and very nice. VERY on time with everything and I found it nice that they took blood work in your exam room (not a new location to figure out)
Instead of consolidating 3 visits into 1, had a virtual visit to let me know that the nature of my visit would need to be done in person… a receptionist or anybody could have made a phone call and let me know that I needed an in person visit instead of wasting my time. Then waited over 40 minutes from my appointment time for a provider to see me only to tell me that she’s going to need to get a different provider to help me because she doesn’t know anything about my issues, but he might… they knew what I was coming in for, why would you send the person who doesn’t know about it? Finally, was seen by somebody who could answer my questions and address my concerns. The lab tech who drew my blood was absolutely wonderful, the only positive in this experience. After my 3rd visit I was finally able to have my prescription renewed only to go to the pharmacy to find out that they didn’t have the proper dosage and my provider would need to update the prescription. They eventually updated it… only to have a 3 month supply prescribed, but once opened it expired in 28 days. That’s not a 3 month supply. I then emailed to ask about the prescription only to get an email and a call back ignoring my questions, asking to set up an annual exam(which I was under the impression we just did). Was told somebody would get back to me and that I couldn’t speak to a provider over the phone. Another email. Not responded to. Another phone call, same run around. I don’t know if anybody is capable of answering questions regarding prescriptions without an appointment. Not really sure how this place functions as a business, let alone a place for folks to seek health and wellness… the only thing they’ve provided is poor service, poor communication and additional stress and anxiety. Luckily I have an unaffiliated therapist and psychologist. If your insurance covers anywhere else, likely a better option. Its been over 3 weeks. Finally received a voicemail from the Dr. He said hed call back today at 1030, hasnt called, hasnt answered my calls, or responded to my voicemail. The receptionist again let me know that theres nobody available to answer my questions and that hed message the doctor to hopefully reach out, but cant give me an idea of when. Theres nobody capable of answering my questions available.... not an idea of when... its been over 3 weeks and we still cant find somebody to answer my medical/prescription related questions?? This place is completely unprofessional.
I had an overall great experience getting my annual checkup. The follow up call discussing the results of my blood work was life changing. I decided to make huge diet changes because of it which have positively impacted my life greatly. I am thankful Aayu offered the follow up review.
Absolutely great experience! Everyone at the office was super nice and made me feel really welcomed from the moment I walked in. The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to make sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. Highly recommend!
Everyone at the clinic was so nice, from the front desk, the PA, and the phlebotomist. I normally have tricky veins but she found a vein quickly with ease. I would definitely return.
Aayu Clinic Lakeview is a great urgent care clinic on Chicago’s north side. The practitioners were very attentive to my ear issues and explained everything in a detailed and thorough manner. I would definitely recommend this clinic .
The staff at Aayu is just incredible- from receptionist, nurses, and PAs, theyre all amazing. Im someone who struggles with pretty intense medical anxiety and everyone Ive met here has treated me with such kindness and care. Ive gone to a variety of appointments here now - including annual physical, urgent care walk-in, womens health visit and mental health services and I have had an incredible experience every time. It has been a total game changer.Ross Carpino has been the main person Ive touched base with, and I cannot speak highly enough of him. I wish I could recall a full list of the staff Ive seen there, but every one of them has done an incredible job at taking care of their patients. The convenience and quality of care is amazing, thank you for everything Aayu team!
Staff at Aayu is very on top of things, concerned and proactive. They go out of their way to help patients. When they realized that the PA I wanted to see was not at the clinic I usually go to on the day I had booked, they stepped in and rearranged things to accommodate my preference. Speaking of which, the PA Ive been working with is exceptionally knowledgeable, caring and helpful.
The incompetence is real hereI went to get a prescription refilled before my insurance ended and I was very clear with the staff that I needed it filled quickly. they fumbled sending in the correct prescription so I never was able to get a pickup before insurance ended
Katie saw me for my annual wellness exam and was excellent! She did a great job giving me practical advice and recommendations for my health journey. Collin the phlebotomist was also really fantastic (In the past others have had a hard time drawing blood from me, but he made it the fastest and most painless experience ever). Thanks to this team for a great check-up!
I was so pleased with the front desk staff and medical professionals working at the aayuclinics. The staff, including Dr. Shinde, went out of their way on a Sunday, to complete a medical examination for my son, who needed to have a physical for school. I had a lot of questions, and they were kind, patient and respectful. I highly recommend this clinic.
My wife and I visited your clinic for the first time on January 7th for our annual physical exams. Prior to the appointment, I called multiple times to confirm that our insurance would cover 100% of the visit. I also provided the name of our insurance provider during those calls. The front desk staff confirmed that both my and my wife’s physical exams would be fully covered by our insurance plan. However, about a week later, I noticed a charge of $350 each for both visits, listed as “regular visits” according to my insurance company. I immediately called the clinic to explain the situation. The person I spoke with apologized multiple times and assured me the issue would be resolved or corrected. Unfortunately, the charge has still not been removed.Given this experience, I am now unsure whether I can trust this clinic moving forward.I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and a clear explanation regarding these charges.
AAYU clinics has always had open appointment slots, friendly and thorough staff, as well as phenomenal assistance over the phone if you have questions. They truly make appointments easy and were my primary care in Chicago!
I mean what can I say. I feel safe, supported, seen and heard. Emotionally, mentally, physically this place is it and they do it with heart. I switched full primary care over less than 6 months and I can finally exhale knowing they are honestly looking out not only my health but my overall well being. Soo many stars.
It was my first time going to Aayu clinic and I’ll definitely be going back! I was looking to get same-day testing done and even though they were booked for the day they were able to find time to fit me in to not only get the test done but also to see a provider. I was seen quickly and everyone there was very friendly, would definitely recommend!
Literally the best practice I have been too. From the front desk to the nurse to the doctor, everyone was so kind and professional. Usually I feel rushed when getting an annual physical but I felt like they actually cared here. I highly recommend!!
Jennifer who took my vitals and initial intake couldn’t care less. BP apparatus was too tight that it could caused numbness and tingling sensation. I was uncomfortable to I was uneasy and was moving a little bit. I told her about the discomfort. Her reply “ well because you are moving too much.” Talks way too fast. I was just another body to her. Bryce Ocampo, PA-C was excellent. Empathetic. Thorough. I wanted to establish PCP and expressed that I might be pregnant so I wanted to be referred to an OB. They missed this part of my visit and ignored that I mentioned that I might be pregnant. Will not go back to this clinic.-Jean, DPT
125 to see the doc even Teladoc. Wild. I like the place otherwise but you going to pay if you go.iIt has definitely become more challenging lately. I used to be able to handle multiple issues in one visit, but now they require me to schedule separate appointments for each task.
Aayu Clinics on Division is great. I have gone there for Urgent Care, Womens Health, and will soon be returning for my annual physical. Ive always been in and out quickly and had really caring and friendly practitioners. I would recommend Aayu Clinics to anyone in the area looking for a new doctor.
Beware of their billing department. I scheduled an appointment but never ended up seeing the provider. This was 8 months ago, and they continue sending me bills, harassing me to pay a charge for a service I never received. I have tried to communicate with the billing department on five separate occasions and with the clinic twice. They have repeatedly hung up on me and despite the provider confirming that I was never seen, they continue to send me bills. The billing practices at this clinic are borderline fraudulent. Be careful.
This place runs like a well oiled machine. Best clinic i have experienced. Others can be a 2 hour wait with an appointment. I got a same day appointment. A phone call. Easy online chart check in. Staff is qualified. Receptionist, nurse, nurse practitioner.. testing on site. Highly recommend. (Clean interiors and parking indoor avail too.)
I really appreciate having somewhere nearby that has walk-in for both primary and urgent care. And open 7 days a week is unheard of! Every experience Ive had in both divisions have been excellent. Highly recommend.
Make to verify your insurance is in-network. They led me to believe my was when it indeed is not, they even charged me for a visit that I didn’t not attend. Totally my fault for not verifying on my end, but still bunch of extra stuff appealing the claims etc when all they had to do was be honest.
They lost my test but didn’t tell me until I hopped on a telehealth call a week later. The only reason this isn’t 1 star is because side the people were nice enough. But that’s not enough to get them any further than 2 stars.
Ive had a bad case of pneumonia and have seen the team at Aayu several times over the past month. Theyve been great responsive, caring, and giving me both the most effective OTC, natural and Rx solutions. I really appreciate them!
I’m part of a national touring band, needed immediate attention, and was well taken care of. Aayu clinics has top notch staff, nurses and doctors. Excellent service!
Had a physical and they forgot to do important blood work I needed done which was the point of the appointment. Seems like they are not reading the care cards before the appointment.
My first time experience was great..a very clean and careful place I observed...Although the meds prescribed for my sinus was a little too strong for me...I cannot say anything bad because the PA there was following protocol Im sure...Also cleaned out my ears which was never done to me in 69 years!! The receptionist at desk were so lovely .great staff!
I had a new nurse practitioner today that Ive never had before that was very enthusiastic and informative. She also made sure that there wasnt an issue with my insurance with having a physical sooner than one year.
Overall fine. But today I went with a sore throat for a strep test. But they wouldnt do one without also doing a covid and flu test. Fine, but they couldnt tell me how much that would cost me, and didnt seem to care or offer the option of just a strep test. I dont like surprise medical bills. Disappointed.
I absolutely love them. They are my new doctors. While there are male doctors there, my experiences have been with female doctors and practitioners, and they are just absolutely fantastic. Thorough, helpful and non-judgmental. Utterly recommend.
I have always had a good experience with Aayu in the past, but I went in several weeks ago for a Covid test and they way over billed me. Make sure you call and ask for an itemized bill before you pay and look up the billing codes. They charged me for a level 4 doctor’s visit when I only saw an MA for less than 5 minutes. This is billing fraud and they don’t care because I have now spent 3 months trying unsuccessfully to get this corrected.
Staff is incredibly sweet and friendly. Most positive experience I’ve had at a clinic. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in need of a primary health care office or check up.
They were able to see me right away, when i couldnt get an appointment (even a telemedicine visit) with my GP for 2 weeks. The nurse practitioner that I saw, Christine Kathure, was thorough in her exam and then in her patient education. I had a great experience and would recommend this clinic.
I love this urgent care, I come here every time I have a problem! I love how it’s walk in, and they care so much for you, it’s great! They are like family
Absolutely incredible visit. I have had shingles three times and this was the first doctor who actually sat down and educated me about it !!! Bedside manner is not dead here ❤️
The Lincoln park office is not nearly as great as the wicker park office. I waited 20 minutes to be seen and then another 30 minutes just to get blood work done, and I had an appointment. They also forgot to run a specific test that I talked in depth about with the nurse. So now I have to go back.I gave it three stars because the staff is friendly.
Doctors, nurses and front desk staff are all very friendly, respectful and thorough. I feel I can ask anything and I feel I’ve been listened to in depth as well.
The nurse practitioner I worked with was so fast and she figured out my diagnosis when my primary clinic missed it.
I have had a great experience at both clinic locations. The staff is very helpful and Dr. Shinde is a thorough and patient oriented physician
Wow. They treat their patients so well here! 10/10 Great customer service and very kind people working here.
I hate this place. They were not at all honest with me about what my insurance covered and did not cover and now, because of these people, Im incurring my first instance of medical debt. Id give zero stars if I could, dont bother trying to go here.
Told me my insurance did not cover the service and took my cash payment for the service instead. Did not provide the service, would not refund me after telling me service I came for wouldnt be provided. Billed my insurance for the service despite already charging me out of pocket. Never returned my calls about this issue. Very dishonest practices here, definitely dont recommend.
Aayu Clinics sends me a bill for “Case Management” every few months despite me not visiting the facility since August 2024. Even after repeated phone calls telling them to take off the bill and stop trying to bill me, the clinic continues to send me bills. The next bill will result in legal action.
Very kind and attentive staff, really enjoyed my first visit with them.
Ii get excellent and organized care from one of the lovely NPs. Everyone is thorough and super friendly. i’m glad i found them!
The team here is very friendly, and I felt super comfortable after my first visit. I am very thankful for their help.
Front desk mangers were inviting, and accommodating—I was late, sorry. Providers were prompt, knowledgeable and professional.
I had a horrible visit experience, after seeing the doctor and wanting to get a prescription for weight loss drug. I wasted money for no resolution about getting the weight loss.
I didn’t catch the nurses name but she is amazing and super kind ❤️ and the doctor I had twice and he was a great listener and doctor too!! :)
Aayu is very hit or miss. I had a bizarre, somewhat negative experience this time. I will only be going to one of their locations in the future. Important to note, the PA was wonderful and thankfully works at both offices.
Quick, friendly, and efficient! From check-in to check-out, the staff were helpful, kind, and generous with their time and information.
My appointment at Aayu clinic this morning on 7-9-2025 was good everyone was very kind I was in and out everyone was just so very courteous very nice clean environment. Bathrooms are very clean smell nicely whatever Company clean the Ayau Clinic does a very well done job.
Excellent physician and kind staff! Could not ask for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a primary doctor or a fast appointment with a knowledgeable physician. They do it all!
In on time, a rare treat in my experience in medical offices! Staff were great and showed empathy for my issue. Appreciate their quick assistance on the day after Christmas, and helping me get back on my feet.
Very efficient service, good expertise and has a nice office. They always have open appointments even on the weekend and offer telehealth. Additionally they follow up, respond fast and make appointments for you.Its a group of doctors so you will be shuffled around, it seems to be a different doctor every appointment. If you want the personal connection this is not for you.
Really great experience booking an appointment online. Staff was very friendly and the physicians were very knowledgeable. Follow up call to go over results via online call went very well and was very efficient. Highly recommend this place!
I shared a glowing review a little ago but had a pretty bad experience both with the office and the billing company. The last time I was there they didn’t do my correct labs and then encouraged me to come back for more labs. First, labs cost money and they did not do my full panel, which they were supposed to do. I’m already very irritated about their billing, but why would I pay more money to come in to correct their mistake. Second, I took PTO for this and am not happy that they are encouraging me to come back when they didn’t do the full panel. In addition, we only discovered this because I had to schedule a call to review my about my labs. During this call, it didn’t seem like the PA or whoever it was knew anything about my charts or background. This was very irritating to not have someone know my health background when talking about my health. Then there is one of the worst billing companies I have ever worked with. When I called to ask them about an outstanding balance (I only knew this because the receptionist told me) they told me they had called X insurance company. I had to tell them that was not my insurance provider and asked why they called them. In addition, I have asked for a bill to be mailed to me for this and they have never sent it. They just keep telling me I owe a certain amount to see a doctor when I have seen that doctor before and all I have owed is a copay. This billing company is just awful and also don’t pick up or call back during normal business hours, which is also a major red flag.Overall, I really like the naturopath here but am most likely going to switch providers at this point. I have had a good experience earlier on but I feel like something happened at this this clinic recently and it’s been a major let down.
Terrible experience here. I was repeatedly lied to that an essential medication i take was being raised as Im experiencing more issues. They even defrauded me and my insurance provider by forcing me to make a seperate appointment solely for this issue in which they agreed to up my dosage. Not often will you have mulitple doctors from an organization lie to you. Horrible. This has been going on for 2 MONTHS.
From the time that I came thru the doors of Aayu clinic , the customer service was top notch. From the receptionist to the nursing staff everyone was so nice and attentive. I felt really comfortablelike I have known them for a long time. Just had to share my experience.
Top of the line service. Im grateful for them keeping me alive and breathing.I was in a bad way when i initially came to the clinic and while Im still getting treatment and new prescriptions i do feel much much better and on the riad to 100% recovery. Thank you AAYU clinic personnel.Once again (8/28) terrific service at AAYU clinic on School street. On 9/12/2023...Once again, terrific service. 4On 3/23/24. Excellent services as usual even with my blood test results being less than ideal. On 5/18/2024...Got severely dehydrated with the blood pressure dropping to 80 over 40 something. An IV drip later got me back to semi decent BP. Thank you AAYU Clinic for an outstanding job.5/20/2024...Once again an excellent visit at AAYU and this time the BP was normal.8/3/24. Excellent service once again.9/21/24. Ditto9/22/24. An in person visit with no appointment went extremely fast without any wait time. Talk about great timing.1/13/25. Always excellent service.1/30/25. Ditto says it all.Today visit was by telehealth...went well..as usual.7/5/2025. Another 5 star visit.
Not only was the front d.esk beautiful, but wonderful staff. Comfortable. Kind. Environment
Very clean. Polite, personable staff. Very comfortable, home like atmosphere. Getting blood drawn was so smooth and painless
Id give zero stars if I could. All they want to do is sell $500 ketamine infusions. They did not treat me like a human or listen to my concerns. The young PA made me feel very uncomfortable from his weak handshake and insecure demeanor, and he made flippant jokes about my mental health concerns. At one point he took off his mask because he couldnt breathe but did not tell me I could remove mine. He then tried to prescribe me a medication that is completely inappropriate for my needs after talking to me for five minutes. Awful experience, huge waste of time and money.
I had a wonderful, comfortable visit and they just made sure that I wasnt leaving without figuring out the problem and making sure I have what I need.
In terms of urgent care, Aayu is a fine clinic.Ive been a patient for a few years now, mainly because they offer naturopathic care that accepts insurance. However, they cannot keep a naturopathic doctor on staff if their business depended on it - just this year I have worked with 3 different doctors because they keep leaving and every single time it has been while I was awaiting test results (and this time around they cant even locate my test results to let me know whether or not they are available to be reviewed, or if the tests were even completed, so unclear if I will ever get those results after giving about 8 vials of blood for it). So I am always left hanging, unable to review my results or get any answers until they find a new doctor - not to mention that they never give any notice that the doctor youve been working with is leaving. This is inconsiderate of both the doctor and the clinic as patients are left with questions about their health. Safe to say, I will not be returning as a patient for naturopathic care as it is unreliable and inconsistent.Part of my care here was IV infusions and generally they went okay, but there were a few times where the MA administering the IV was clearly unexperienced and made for a very uncomfortable experience. To keep a long story short, one of my visits started out with and untimely unclamped IV catheter, resulting in my blood squirting all over me and my white pants. For basic stuff, aayu is a great resource. If you want specific, consistent, and reliable care for your health concers, you are better off going elsewhere and just spending the extra money, because it is worth the reliability when the alternative is having to re-explain your entire medical history to a brand new provider every few months.
I highly recommend Aayu! Super professional and professional. I will be going back, though I hope not too soon!
Got a bad cut in the kitchen today and went here for stitches. I have a lot of medical anxiety so I was pretty nervous, but the staff were incredibly kind and supportive throughout my visit. I will definitely only be using Aayu clinics for urgent care from now on!
First of all there was free parking the receptionist were very professional and neat. The outside office was comfortable and very neat as well. The intake personnel were very knowledgeable, very kind and I enjoyed working with them. My doctor was also very knowledgeable, and the procedure that I had the day was done very professional, and the rooms were extremely sterile And Wait was short!
I can’t thank Dr. Christine and the staff at Aayu Clinics enough for taking such good care of me. I walked in as a last appointment with breathing issues and coughing from having a severe allergic reaction and they kept me calm and breathing. They were kind, compassionate, patient, and thorough. Thank you for taking such good care and if me and my health!
The medical care I receive at AAYU is excellent. The doctors, nurses, and lab professionals are caring, careful, and knowledgeable. A policy that calls for rescheduling an appointment if you are 5 minutes late is appalling. We live in a city with transportation issues, and we are human beings who can be late. Our time is equally as important as the doctor’s — rescheduling can be extremely difficult. And even restaurants give 15 minutes grace. Be realistic.
Very professional and the staff makes every visit very easy and straightforward.
I came in for a covid test because the site said that appointments before 2pm would have same-day turn around. When I got there, they said that PCRs would actually be 48 hours, so I got a rapid test as well. Turns out even the *rapid* test has 48 hour turn around time. It’s really irresponsible and unethical to advertise and promise rapid testing, hope they do better in the future.
This clinic is great for something fast I.e. flu shot, inhaler refill, something not too serious. If you are going in for something chronic be weary. I found a few inconsistencies with the care and it’s concerning. Things like failing to acknowledge my concerns correctly, or requests after documenting, and wrong directions for medication use. i did have experience with a few of the staff and they are ranging from VERY polite and friendly to sometimes dry and quiet. I gave the weight loss management a shot and ended up wasting a lot of my time and money on follow up appointments to be constantly prescribed what I stated I did not want and to see a homeopathic doctor who was under the impression that I was already taking a glp1 medication. After wasting time going back and forth about what I wanted to take and waiting too long for insurance approvals we wasted 2 months and I gave up on them. The clinic is very clean and inviting. The parking lot is a plus. It has excellent potential but an honest 3 stars because patient care is so much more than just seeing patients and writing out prescriptions.
I always have a great experience, with the Aayu team. They are professional and helpful for a better health care through them.
Id like to give them 5 stars, but theres always an issue trying to get my test results. Ive had to call several times to get my results each time Ive gotten tests done here. The most recent time, I never received my culture results (they didnt email them to me with my other test results and no test results appear in my patient portal for my most recent visit - its as if I wasnt seen here). That being said, Im happy they offer testing only appointments since most places phased those out. The staff are always nice and theyre always on time. The only other issue I had was an awkward moment when I declined having my weight taken. Its always up to the patients discretion to opt out of being weighed and I hope the staff receives training in this area so that patients can have a more comfortable experience.
Aaya Clinic offers same day appointments when youre sock. The doctors and staff are very thorough and caring. They go the extra mile to make sure their patients get the care they need and followup afterward.
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have recently received at your hospital. The situation has been extremely frustrating, and I would like to detail the issues I have encountered.Firstly, I scheduled an appointment through the Zocdoc application. I received confirmation of my appointment in the system, but when I arrived at the hospital, I was told there was no confirmation and that my appointment needed to be rescheduled. Despite seeing my confirmation in the system, I was forced to accept a new appointment. When I finally attended the rescheduled appointment, I asked for the doctor who was supposed to see me, only to find out that the doctor could not see me because he only handles specific cases. Instead, I was seen by a nurse. However, my insurance reported that I was seen by the doctor, which is untrue since I never met the doctor. For the follow-up of my results, I attempted to schedule another appointment and was informed that there was no availability for an earlier date. However, a week later, I received multiple calls insisting that I could not be seen on the scheduled day and that my appointment needed to be changed again. Throughout this process, my appointments have been changed seven times, which is unacceptable. This type of management is inefficient and has caused great inconvenience and unnecessary stress. I request that you take the necessary measures to prevent other patients from experiencing similar issues. Additionally, I ask for an explanation as to why it was reported to my insurance that I was seen by a doctor when this is not true. This is not only an error but could be seen as fraudulent activity.I appreciate your attention to this complaint and expect a prompt response and an adequate resolution to these problems.
Went in for some routine blood work. Easy covered parking. Reception staff was friendly and informative & phlebotomist was prompt, efficient and, most importantly, painless,
Nice , clean facility, very prompt awesome staff as well from the front office , doctor and assistant staff.
False advertising for Covid PCR. Website said “Get same-day results if tested BEFORE 1pm” but they told me 24 hours when I arrived for my appointment. Staff was very nice.
I made a telehealth appointment for a medication refill with them two days ago. I called the office three minutes before my appointment time because I hadn’t yet received a link for the appointment— the person who answered the phone told me that they had changed it to an in-person appointment without letting me know. I requested a courtesy refill of my medication while I wait for my upcoming appointment, which I will be unable to attend for another 10 days. They did not get back to me. I called twice yesterday requesting an update, and each time was told the providers hadn’t gotten to my request. I am physically ill without my medication, which is why I had made the refill appointment in the first place. I am extremely frustrated and feel like I’m being held hostage. Hopefully a public review will get them to respond and fulfill my request.
I really like it they were very friendly. They answer my question. I will recommend they help me allot . 😌😌
Sent me paperwork to fill out before my appointment- I didn’t get to it right away. 1.5 hours before the appt I got a text saying “per our policy, you didn’t fill out the paperwork 2 hours prior to your appt, so the appt is cancelled.” There was nothing in the previous texts about the paperwork about this policy. I called, they were willing to put my appointment back on the schedule but were so rude I decided to cancel. This was a follow up appointment, there was no reason for all of the paperwork. Crazy policy, even crazier that its a surprise.
This office is very disorganized and would not recommend unless you only need a quick appointment for primary care. I have been going here for over 7 months and had constant issues with the doctor office rescheduling appointments, rude receptionists hanging up the phone, forgetting to send the medication to the pharmacy, etc. I would look somewhere else if you need consistent care/medication.*UPDATE* - Aayu clinics promptly reached out to discuss these issues and did address each of my concerns. Im glad that Aayu clinics has a line of open communication and hope that this will experience will benefit other patients.
I went here for a while and they just went downhill. Really did not like the scheduling and they kept Nicole and dining me. They required constant blood tests for my medicine refills. When I went to another doctor they said the amount of blood tests was unnecessary.
Thank you so much for great health care service. The medical staff was very accomodating. Highly Recommended health care provider..
Had a great experience visiting for my annual. Felt like any issues I had were met with a lot of care and multiple different solutions. Great team :)
Covid tests were administered through a hole in a plexiglass window that was NOT DISINFECTED between patients. 😖 seriously grossed out.Intake was disorganized and took forever despite no one being there.
I love the level of service and care that this clinic provides. Very impressed by it !🙏
Great team and clean facility. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The phlebotomist was a rockstar!
RNs and med techs are SO kind! I have had very negative experiences with doctors who I have made me feel not listened to or taken seriously, but at Aayu I felt like I was heard and taken care of
They are great, very efficient and knowledgeable! I was feeling sick and with a lot going around my office I wanted to cover my bases…they gave me rapid tests for 4 different respiratory illnesses, I came back positive for the flu within 10 minutes, and then they switched me to a telehealth appointment to tell me about medications to take and symptom management! Great experience!
Absolutely amazing service. This is my go to urgent care. Great people great staff
Friendly & efficient staff & service. While visiting from out of town, I was looking for an urgent care facility close to where we were staying. This clinic was within easy walking distance. I received good care in such timely fashion!
I havent been to a doctor in years. I dont like doctors offices, but I liked Aayu Clinic in Lakeview a lot. The staff was nice. They were informative and didnt feel judgemental. I felt seen and heard and I will definitely be using them again in the future.
Very attractive to the patients and the whole staff is very nice and courteous when dealing with patients this is where I will be going from here on out
Both nurse practcioners and all of the staff were very kind and attentative. They are my new primary clinic. Thank you too all the staff there!
Avoid! Shady practices going on here. I went in for a “free” COVID test back in March as advertised on their website (later I would be told that this info was “out of date”). A week or so later I am hit with a bill of almost $400. $120 in lab/test fees and $250 for 45 min NEW PATIENT VISIT w Dr Abhijit Shinde. I walked in the clinic, checked in, a nurse came out and swabbed me in the lobby, took about 5 mins MAX. I never went back into a room and definitely never saw a doctor. Took me 6 months to fight the bill with their payment group. Absolutely ridiculous. Shame on them.
First impression: Best care I’ve ever received! My doctor was actually invested in my health
I’m so beyond grateful for the team here. If I could give a billion reviews I would. I’ve never been made to feel so at home and cared for. As if what I was feeling truly mattered. The Aayu Clinic team and Doctor here has done amazing work! I feel so much better I walked in feeling defeated only to walk out feeling like a miracle. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!
Everything was a quick pleasant experience. I forgor to make note of her name but the lady who was drawing blood oct 4th at around 11am at the wicker park location, she is top notch at her job! No one can ever get my blood on the 1st attempt and she was like I see ehy they have issues and goes for it no problem. You cant even tell that I had blood drawn at all. Not even a tiny mark. She is amazing skills and personality!
Had to get super intricate stitches above my eye after a basketball mishap, Brian absolutely locked in and helped me out. I had an incredible experience from beginning to end and I cant thank this crew enough.
Booked an appointment to see a dermatologist. In my appointment he told me that I needed to go see a dermatologist…. That was the point of the call.
Great experience! Very quick and cordial online visit
The psychiatrist I saw did not care at all, he spoke over me, explaining nothing in the process. For an office that is supposed to help people with mental health issues the whole ordeal of dealing with the doctors felt more like a stress test. The reception staff is the only redeeming quality because of how awesome they are.
I have already recommended AAYU clinic to a friend and it was recommended to me by a friend.During my visit, the provider was very thorough and detailed. I was very impressed with his knowledge and experience.Another provider from the same clinic called me the following day, on a Saturday, over the long weekend, to give me the results of the tests and give me further details and instructions for my care.It would be normal to have to wait until the long weekend was over to hear back from the doctor’s office,so I was very pleasantly surprised.I felt that I was in very excellent care.
Not sure what I was expecting but the clinical and front desk team was so kind and thorough. They were there to support, answer questions and really listen to me. While I hope I don’t have to go back, I know I’ll be able to trust them if I do.
Very professional staff and great PA who answered all of my questions thoroughly thoughtfully. Not your typical walk-in clinic. A pleasant surprise.
First time visiting this clinic, as a new patient the process was a breeze! Also, being a walk in patient. I did not have a long wait at all, I was in and out! The staff were all pleasant! The medical assistant was personal and made me feel at ease! The provider was also great! Definitely will be returning when needing treatment!
The Aayu clinic staff is nothing but professional, knowledgeable and are always able to answer my questions. I have had a few telemedicine appointments and am very pleased with their service and attention to detail. Thank you Aayu!
Great facilities and staff. I was seen very quickly for an urgent issue. The doctor I saw was very kind and helpful and informative. Definitely considering switching to Aayu clinic for primary care.
I would give this no stars if I could I booked an appointment under there Psychiatry services reluctantly given that they seem mostly to be urgent care and the two are often unrelated but I took a chance because theyre in the neighborhood and had a lot of availability. It was the biggest waste of time they want you to get tested for five things when you only came in for one thing and they wont help you with the one thing you booked unless you pay for all five things but they dont tell you this before you come in. its a complete racket it was even more disappointing than I anticipated in the first place avoid
Very smooth, got seen right away. Great service
The patient assistant was very thorough and detailed about the results of my lab work. I was very pleased with the virtual session along with the follow-up suggested.
Wow I cant even begin to express in writing just how good I feel about finding this gem in my Lakeview neighborhood. The entire staff has make me feel like Im in good hands. Straight from the front desk to the doctors to the online video care. Its been amazing and Im really grateful to be under the care of Aayu Clinics.
I sought out Aayu for primary care and mental health services. While the staff were caring and professional, my care and appointments were disrupted by a lack of consistent communication, responsiveness and follow through on the part of the lead doctor and medical director, Dr. Shinde. After meeting with me, he failed to follow up on treatment options and appointments, return communication, and even moved/changed already scheduled appointments with other providers at Aayu without warning or explanation. As a result, my care and access to treatment became so disrupted that I was forced to find care elsewhere.
Front desk, nurse, and doctor were all friendly. They listened to my concerns and prescribed me some meds to get better. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Same day scheduling is great!
First time here everybody was very nice and my new doctor was very knowledgeable thanks you guys
Aayu clinic made getting a rapid pcr test so easy. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. I really appreciated that they followed up with phone calls even though they emailed results. And then it was super convenient to be able to text with someone with questions and next steps. The nurse practitioner I spoke with was super personable. I was very pleased with my experience.
Fast. Check up. Perfect. Service. Ill. Be. Back
I went to get a flu shot and had a 10:45am appointment. I did the paperwork online before I arrived so I was all set. I got there a minute before my appointment and checked in. There is no one on the waiting area and I see one person leave while I’m at the clinic. Twenty-five minutes after arriving, I’m asked to complete another questionnaire that are the standard flu shot questions. About 5 minutes later someone finally comes and gets me. There is no action in this clinic; no people going in and out. It’s completely dead. I complained that I was there for a half hour for a scheduled flu shot and I got this whole excuse about how they’re busy with other patients that are already back in the rooms. There’s literally no action going on in the clinic. They tell me they’re taking my vitals and I refused and asked just for the shot. They said it was policy but that they’d just waive it. They could tell I was definitely upset and annoyed. I told them I wouldn’t be returning again for immunizations. I got the shot and got out- that part took less than 2 minutes. Round trip from my house that’s 5 minutes away, I was gone 50 minutes. For a scheduled flu shot in an empty clinic. It was ridiculous.
Went in with a sick kid. First appointment of the day - so no one ahead of us. Typical flu symptoms, so he was tested for Covid and flu. 15 minutes later - told that he has flu and moved into a telehealth appointment which was disappointing, as I wanted his vitals checked. They did not take weight, temperature , blood pressure, Oxygen saturation, or any other basic health information. We were instructed to take the call from the car. We did not have a face to face with a doctor or nurse or PA due to risk of infection, however we sat in the waiting room waiting for results from the swabs. While I understand nobody wants to spread germs, there are protocols available to mitigate infection- such as rooming a sick person ASAP and using PPE so that care can be given appropriately with minimal risk to providers. I asked if this was in line with CDC protocols, and was told it was Aauy policy.
Took my sick kid to get a Covid test on 8/26. Set up an appointment online for 11am. Showed up 5 min before. Waited for 50 minutes before they finally were able to see us. The tech said that there were a lot of patients and there was only one of them, but in the 50 minutes we were waiting, I didnt see anyone come out and 2 people in the waiting room that had appointments after us were seen before us. We were about to walk out, and I let them know it, and then magically they were able to see us. Very disappointed as this was our go-to spot for tests because they were normally very quick. Whats the point of scheduling an appointment if youre not going to honor it.
Friendly front desk staff, and nurses don’t have anything negative to say.
This place used to be great, but not any more. I continually get mis-billed and they say I didn’t pay my co-pay (I did and have proof) and now I have been ghosted by my my doctor for 3 weeks and thus experienced a problematic gap in medication refills. Would absolutely not recommend this place for anything more in-depth than an urgent care visit.
Incredibly friendly staff and even more friendly doctors. I highly recommend this place for urgent care or even primary care. The very knowledgeable and accommodating. Their office is also super clean and comfy.
Friendly and smart staff, super helpful. Got me a flu vaccine there.
The doctor is the best! I am already feeling better with my medication for asthma. The place is neat, nice music, the staff is amazing from the front desk lady, the MA, both phlebotomists, you are really greated with so much love and respect. 100% recommend this clinic thank you!
Amazing, clean, quiet facility with free garage parking. Easy to book a same day appointment (especially during a holiday weekend), and both of my insurances were accepted…Win! Win! Wait time was basically non-existent. They stagger their appointment blocks with appropriate timeframes. The all female staff were polite and attentive with amazing bedside manner. Their approach to healthcare is both discreet and inclusive: ranging from women’s health (general, maternity, and post natal), to gender affirming care, routine wellness/primary care. Will definitely use them from primary and urgent care moving forward.
Overall good experience. Scheduling was super easy and much more convenient than going to a typical private practice. The appointment was exactly on time with no waiting. The Physician Assistant and nurses that saw me were knowledgeable, thorough and very professional. Lab work came back within a day and results were clearly explained to me. I will continue to use Aayu for annual physicals.
I was denied an appointment because I was 9 mins late. After fumbling to put batteries in my hearing aides and bringing audio online the front desk informed me that I was late and needed to reschedule. There have been many times where I waited 45 mins in a room to be seen by a doctor. Which is normally no problem that’s why they have magazines in the lobby right? In this case it was a cold no, without any sort of consideration of my medical situation. Luckily it is just a blood sugar management session and metformin is easy to prescribe by other doctors. But how did the desk clerk know this? She didn’t. It was a cold no. I’m sorry but my health is more important than some purile elementary school rule. I cannot risk missing an appointment and being denied healthcare on a simplistic inconsistently-enforced or strict punctuality rule. If this were so important why are the doctors and care not punctual at all? It’s easy to see that the patients don’t matter here. This is a business even if it is health care. And I will take my business elsewhere since the risk is simply too high with Aayu Clinics.
Those place was amazing! Friendly faces, pleasant bed side manner and interested in helping you get the mental, emotional and physical results you need to have an active and healthy life.
Before today I only had Covid and flu testing here. Went in today for what turned out to be severe dehydration from being sick (and then immediately getting food poisoning). From the reception on, everything was very attentive and thorough. Most importantly, I felt listened to and cared for and cared ABOUT. Everything was explained, options were given, and they made sure to schedule a follow up. Definitely considering making them my primary in the new year
Ross an darling were extremely friendly they made the experience very comforting and safe. Including the nurse she was very demure
Fantastic clinic with exceptional staff. Thank you!
They’re all very nice and but they require virtual appointments before getting refills for controlled substances (which I completely understand and have no problem attending) but I have yet to have an appointment where they are 10+ minutes late!! Today i had to call the office and after I’d been waiting in the virtual waiting room for 10 minutes. They never fail to send me 20 texts prior to my appointment to ensure I’ve paid my copay (for the appointment that hasn’t even happened yet) but I have to call and remind them that I’m waiting for my appointment?? It’s very frustrating as I’m usually scheduling around my work schedule/lunch breaks. I don’t mind attending appointments whether they’re in person or virtual but there seems to be a lack of punctuality and professionalism when it comes to virtual appointments.
I did a walk in for a wound and had an excellent experience. There was very little wait, the care staff was kind, knowledgeable, and caring. So glad the clinic is in the neighborhood!
I was traveling and needed care to continue my travel. At Aayu Clinic, staff was so caring and with deep patience they took care of me. The doctor immediately knew what I needed to be fit to continue my travelEvery details of the care was taken seriously at thr clinic. I am so glad I came to this clinic.I walked out of the clinic rejuvenated to new me.I recommend this clinic and ask you to go with themSHRUTI
Usually Aayu cancels appointments last minute, as they did late last night for an 8 a.m. appointment today (after I had moved my schedule around, given up paid clients, etc.). If they do keep an appointment, patients usually have a long wait, moved from room to room without much info about whats happening. I had a tele-health appointment set up last month to review blood test results - nobody showed up for ten minutes, despite repeated (and annoying) confirmations. I tried calling, texting and emailing all their offices that morning to find out what happened, but no response from anyone during that period for a confirmed appointment, so I never got to review results. But I certainly had to pay for them (despite them saying this is your FREE annual checkup). Patients have to fill out extensive paperwork for each visit, which takes a lot of time and they dont check and often dont know why youd made the appointment. Or its all for naught as they cancel last minute, like today. Hidden fees always pop up. Theres myriad online forms and tools, which are confusing, repetitive or just dont work in tandem. It takes lots of time and energy to get ready for these appointments that they then cancel last minute. The health techs on site are nice, but the overall organization is a mess, frustrating and dehumanizing. I went there to support Dr. Shindes daughter, a former student of mine, but I wont be going there again. Every visit has been a poor experience (lots of handshaking during the height of COVID, inviting an intern to participate in private exams without permission, much more). Considering filing a claim with the Illinois Attorney General for constant bad practices.
This is the first time in a long time, since my family doctor of nearly 30 years has retired in 2019, that I have felt like my medical team truly cares about my health and well-being. The entire staff is friendly and caring. Dr. Shinde took the time to explain everything to me as a physician should. This group is now my PCP.
They barged into my examination room and let me know my insurance didn’t cover my annual physical. I asked if they could call them to confirm and they replied “No I can’t, I’m in the front handling walk in patients”. I called my insurance myself, asked her to speak with the receptionist at the clinic, and they still were doubtful. This place is very unprofessional and you could tell a patient does not come first.I’ve been coming to this clinic since 2019 and every time I feel like a new patient. I’ve never had the same Dr check me twice since I started visiting. The only reason I came here continuously was because I could walk there. Learned my lesson.
My first 2 appointments with Dr. Brian were cancelled the night before. The 1 appointment I had with him was great, but then when I was rescheduling our follow up telehealth appointment, the admin booked the wrong type of appointment. Of my 4 scheduled appointments, only 1 actually worked.Something clearly isnt working for this office, and its unfortunate because doctors like Dr. Brian are very hard to find.
Horrible. Advertised their service as psychiatric care but was just talked at for fifteen minutes about what medications would be best for me. Ended up leaving more stressed out and anxious than I was before. Felt like I wasn’t being listened to and will not return again.
I saw Kristine Kathure at the lakeview location and she is one of my favorites. Great bed side manners, listens to my issues and needs, and takes the time to explain whats going on and how each medicine prescribed will help. I always come back because of the excellent service and attention given. Thanks Kristine!
Easy check in…great MA…very through and knowledgeable. Guided me through the procedure. The NP was fantastic, I felt he knew what he was doing. Engaging and I felt cared for. The two of them were a very professional, courteous pair of health care providers. I felt listened to and had my concerns addressed.
Canceled on me twice within two days, including once three hours before the appointment . The people answering the phones do not know their policies and when I talked to another representative she wasnt even sure why it was canceled. Literally go anywhere else.
Very punctual. We had a carload of family members that needed to receive COVID-19 testing. Young lady who did the intake was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very attentive to detail. She was able to identify discrepancies and address them so that we could get our results in a timely fashion. She sent several technicians to our car. These people were also very warm and friendly. They made our children feel quite comfortable with the testing. We highly recommend this facility.
All staff members I interacted with were friendly, helpful, and communicative. The scheduling has been easy & very quick - no long wait times either to schedule exams or in the waiting room. So far the quality of care has been good.
I had a very bad experience with this clinic, and I recommend that anyone who is considering seeing this place for any reason not go. Firstly, the clinic drug tests you every single time you have an appointment, which is insulting in its own way. What is the point of treating your patients like a criminal every time they want to receive care?I also have had a longer, much more frustrating problem with this clinic. I went here to get an evaluation for ADHD, and on my first appointment they required me to receive an evaluation for depression -- a condition that I told them up front that I had. Okay, fine, Ill get told that I have depression for the 100th time by a health care provider. Very helpful and useful application of my money and time. First appointment has ended, and they told me that I would have my actual ADHD evaluation in a follow-up appointment. At my second appointment (two weeks later), at the appointment in the doctors room (note: AFTER I had already paid my copay and my insurance had been charged) they told me that I would have to transfer all of my medications over to their office and they would be the sole health care provider for me if I wanted to get an ADHD evaluation from their office. Instead of calling me like normal, sane, empathetic human beings these people decided to put me on the spot and force me to decide between getting the health care that I need and retaining a medical provider that I had been seeing for months (Aayu was told, explicitly, that they would NOT be providing the script for any medications if I was diagnosed). They wanted to get their insurance charge, I guess. Truly scummy behavior.Well, at the appointment I requested my money back for the second appointment because I should have gotten care that I was not provided. They assured me that I would get my money back, and that I would not be charged for the appointment. The charge was voided, and money returned. Fast forward two months later and I receive a bill in the mail from their billing department telling me that the copay for the second appointment was due at the end of the month. I call their billing department to tell them about the problem, provide them with the email proof of Aayu voiding the copay, and they told me that it was voided. Then a day or so later I checked my bill and it had not been voided -- so I had to pay for care I never received, and am now in the place where I need to convince Aayu to return my co-pay and insurance charge all over again.Literally all of the above, my time, the admin. assistants time, the managers time to approve the refund, and the billing departments time could have been saved by just doing the normal thing and giving the patient a call when you decline to provide care. I feel really bad for the people without insurance who save money to visit a doctor only to find out that (1) they would not receive the care they were promised, and (2) they would still be losing the money they saved. They had two weeks to make the decision about whether they would provide me with the care I asked for and waited until just after Id paid them to tell me that they wouldnt help me.I implore anyone considering Aayu Clinics for care to go to another clinic. This place is not interested in providing transparent health care with their patients best interests in heart.
Ive been a patient at Aayu for a couple of years now. I started at the Wicker Park location and was usually seen be the same PA there. Im on PrEP, and I have to say I tend to always be more comfortable in discussions around this when working with someone who is also a part of the LGBTQ community. They were great and their phlebotomists always did a great job too (quick and painless). On my most recent visit (now at the Lincoln Park location following my move out of Wicker Park)I went in for urgent care instead of my regular PrEP visit. Id sliced open my thumb while cooking and couldnt get the bleeding to stop. Ross was my PA and he, too, made me feel really comfortable and cared for. As he cleaned up the wound with hydrogen peroxide he kept my mind distracted and asked me about the book I was reading and a few other topics. He got the bleeding to stop, got my wound more properly wrapped, and kept me informed on the proper aftercare I needed.Aayu has been great and Im glad Im able to use them for both primary care and urgent care needs.
Excellent service and care over here. They really help you relax and let things be. I felt comfortable and at ease during my covid test. Even though I tested positive, I felt confident and relaxed after my appointment. Forgot the guys name who took care of me, but he was excellent.
I called before visiting the clinic, and they confirmed that they accepted my health insurance. However, when I arrived, they told me the system was not working and delayed in checking my health insurance. I waited for 40 minutes, and when the nurse called me, I asked her to confirm if they had verified my health insurance. She told me they still didnt know. How can you call patients without confirming their health insurance, especially when I talked to the front desk multiple times about it? They wasted my time and could have put me in a situation where I had to pay out of pocket if I hadn’t asked the nurse.
This Clinic far exceeded my expectations. My own doctor was completely booked but I needed to seek medical attention. The staff was friendly the wait was short and the nurse practitioner (Dr. Christina) was extraordinarily smart with great bedside manner. She was also very thorough. Exactly what I needed for greater peace of mind and physical comfort. Highly recommend.
A complete waste of time. The reason for the visit was explained in detail prior to making the appointment. Drove 45 minutes found parking and waited to be seen only to be told they couldn’t help and they offered a referral. That could have easily been figured out in the conversation we had prior to the visit.
I went today four medical consultation.Dr. Christina was so freaking amazing she went beyond what she needed to do. She took such good care of me she made me feel comfortable. She answered all my questions she even asked me more questions. She would not stop looking until she would get an answer for what was going on with me..I’ve been to an urgent care clinic once before and I have never ever been taken care of like I’ve been taking care of at this location. I highly recommend to come here at the Lakeview location and to see the medical staff. Even the young lady they took my blood amazing amazing I didn’t feel anything this is a great staff
They’re very kind from the doctors to the nurses to the receptionist! And answer any questions you have.
Had a great experience at Aayu Clinics in Lakeview. The team was so friendly and caring. They prescribed me medicine and gave me referrals that I needed for my issue. I am so grateful for their help today!
Great service excellent people will be going back
The virtual visit prior to the test was great. The nurse practitioner was very nice, friendly and professional. My husband and I arrived early and they took care of us right away. The nurse practitioner explained the process and procedure. The attendant who came to perform the nasal swab was very friendly and very professional. She took care of my husband first and then she took care of me. I really recommend this place.
I needed to go to an Urgent Care on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Most other places werent open again until Tuesday and the other ones I found that were open dont offer timed appointments. The prospect of sitting for an hour or more was not how I wanted to spend my Sunday. Luckily I found Aayu. They gave me a timed appointment and I was in and out quickly. The staff were friendly and professional and the online registration made everything a breeze - no paperwork,- I was literally in and out in under 10min. I even paid my copay online before I walked in. So glad I found this place !
The woman who gave me my Covid test was great. However getting there and getting situated was not optimal. No one told me that there was parking inside of the space so I spent a lot of time looking for parking and paying for parking that I could’ve had free. There wasn’t clear communication about what to do when finding one’s self in a garage with signage, but no greeter. I am sure they are understaffed, but that was my experience. I felt confused and would have preferred an easier on boarding. The follow-up was great by text and email.Thank you for fitting me in so I could stay on my work schedule!
Rapid results were fast, but experience was not great. Went to get a test to attend an event and did not have Covid coming in but may have it now leaving. Was very surprised to find the place with no ventilation or open doors in the garage on a nice day. Many people standing inside or sitting in their cars with the windows rolled down due to the heat who were clearly very ill. Slow process with little regard for safety. The staff even removed their masks to speak off and on. Will not be back it did not feel safe.
Super convenient, quick, and safe testing procedure for Covid-19 testing. Made an appointment online, pulled into the parking garage, and did the 5 minute symptom screening video call.Less than 20 mins later, both me and my roommate had been tested and were good to go. I did the rapid test and got my results back within 30 minutes.Thank you for the fantastic job, Aayu Clinic Lakeview!
I went to Aayu Clinics for a simple checkup and to talk about a specific concern. Booking the appointment was simple. Interactions before the appointment via text and email were not a hassle. The people I spoke with were kind and professional, speaking to me plainly but not with condescension. I left the facility feeling like a human who was cared for, not like a number being shuffled about.
Great experience! Got an appointment the day I needed with little notice, super quick service, they made me feel comfortable and safe. Thank you!!
I too started going to this clinic because I could walk to it. Im entirely disillusioned now. Test results lost, incredibly stupid waits for virtual appointments (Ive waited upwards of 30 minutes after my appointment). Most of the PAs are nice, but there is one that is on my chart that Ive asked to never see again (and I have had to do virtual appointments with them since...).My medicine regimen has changed due to the one overlord doctor who thinks that they know my business when theyve never seen me - only my chart. (You wont see this doctor, only the PAs)
The most incompetent patient care team I have ever worked with. I needed paperwork for two very important imaging tests and they refused to send me the right SIGNED referral and order documents after several requests and communications. They just can’t seem to get it right. I also had to do a 24-hr urine TWICE and it STILL wasn’t accepted because of something that their lab tech didn’t do, which was properly time and date the sample after being asked multiple times. Don’t go here if you want quality patient care
I went to this clinic after feeling ill for a couple of days and they confirmed I had COVID. As an out-of-state patient, I had no issues and everyone I interacted with was professional, sympathetic, and helpful. They took care of me, provided me with treatment options, and were thorough with follow-ups. Id use this service as my primary care if I lived in Chicago.
They were very professional from beginning to end. The lakeview location wasn’t easy for me to navigate, but the front desk was very helpful and check in was a breeze.I waited a few minutes in line (in my car) and the test was over in less than 30 seconds. Overall a great experience, and I’ll use them again should I need to get tested again.
I am beyond frustrated about my appointment today. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. She greeted me & then told me she was going to send me next door to get a covid test done. I asked her if I had to because I was confused… & she gave me the dirtiest look & answered the question sarcastically & with so much attitude. When I finally was seen, the nurse practitioner again, so rude. She wouldn’t prescribe me antibiotics even though I clearly have a sinus infection & then she refused to write me a note for work. I told her this whole experience has been horrible & that I’m going to go to a different immediate care. She said ‘okay you go do that’ with a smile on her face. I went to physicians immediate care a few minutes away, & they were amazing. Prescribed me meds & wrote me a note for 2 days off work. I don’t know what’s wrong with this place but it was awful. Also they clearly filter out their google reviews because their Yelp ratings are much lower and much more accurate.
Had to take my 3yo daughter for a COVID test. It was easy to get a same day appt. Super simple process - we drove into the garage, and she was able to stay in her car seat the whole time. The staff was very friendly and helped make my daughter feel as at ease as possible given the circumstances. We had the results within 2 hours via email (negative, phew!!). Would highly recommend.
Majorly disjointed experiences. Had a specific issue I needed to have addressed and made this clear before making the intial appointment. Came to discover that their system (which I understand) was not at all a good fit for me, despite being assured they could assist. They split multiple mental health issues into separate appointments and rechecks, completely removing any cost benefit when compared to a traditional psychiatrist. On each occasion I was seen it was a different person who I needed from reiterate my history and needs to. Zero continuity. Also, both times I had a virtual appointment I was left waiting, and had to contact the office myself to find what was happening. My lab results were simply sent to me with a brief consult about results where I was told green is good and red is bad, and they tried to charge me 125$ after being told repeatedly it was an uncharged quick chat. Again, I understand that this practice has a different approach to medicine but I have felt totally confused and underwhelmed by the quality of communication and treatment from the start. Cannot recommend, unfortunately.
Ive only ever been here for COVID testing and I had a great experience each time! It is really clean and spacious inside the garage, and they were really efficient. I was able to get my results back fairly quickly even given the recent spike in demand.
Never leave reviews. But feel like you should when you have a great experience. I came in being pessimistic, and left feeling positive. Isnt that all we want? Thank you for caring and giving me some relief. I will be happy to refer others
Best spot in Chicago. Friendly staff, quick and easy appointments.
Experience was ok. The ladies were nice and quick. The Garage was a bit hot though. I took my PCR test for my trip to Barbados on Saturday and still waiting for results as of 1 am Monday (Day of Trip) I believe everything will work out and Will I’m expecting to receive my email any moment now. I am grateful.
Always a good experience at Aayu, theyre quick and courteous every time.
I’ve truly never gone to a doctor that sat, listened to me, asked relevant questions and didn’t make me feel like I’m being silly with my concerns. And the fact that Dr. Jay didn’t throw any antibiotics my way is also a big plus! Truly though, if nothing came of my appointment (which I highly doubt will be the case) I think they deserve 5 stars for taking medicine to such a humane and “alternative” approach. And i use quotations because it’s so silly that it’s not the norm. Listening to your patient for an hour and not rushing them out after 15 minutes says a ton about the clinic and their amazing staff. I look forward to making them a regular part of my wellness!Wanted to throw in a quick edit: it’s been 6 months since I started working with Dr. Jay along with an acupuncturist he referred me to and I truly feel so much better already. My stomach doesn’t blow up to the size of a beach ball anymore, I’m sleeping way more than I was before, my skin is looking better than it truly ever has and just feel better overall. So grateful to his approach and patience, and for the time I took to make myself feel better!
Was actually a great process getting covid tested here. The front desk admin support answered all my questions in advance over the phone and were very accommodating. When we got there for our appointment, it was quick and easy as we were the first ones in the am. Nurses came up to the car and were very accommodating to conduct the test and it wasn’t as awful as I expected it to be. Thank you aayu clinic!
Have to say Im pretty disappointed. I paid for a rapid covid test. I was told I would receive the results within an hour. I have not received those results and they are now closed for business for to day. In addition I was scheduled for an appointment but not seen for half an hour after my appointment time. In addition I was told by the office that the results of my nasal swab (I did both the rapid test and the longer nasal swab) would be available in 48 to 72 hours but the person who administered the test told me it would be 3 to 5 days so they need to get their story straight. The staff was very friendly and helpful, But I didnt get what I paid for and that irritating.
I can not trust their ability to treat patient. I drop weight on my toe. I went in and doctors and staff were super nice. They sent me to imaging center for x ray. I had to go in again next day for result. They said my toe is not broken. One week passed and I was still in pain. I saw another doctor and my toe is broken. I walked around and worked with my broken toe for one whole week.
After the virtual check up, I got seen fairly quickly. Every thing went smoothly, although there was a lot of (empty) cars parked in the drive up COVID testing spaces with only one spot left for me who actually was getting tested. Also the women there giving out the test are so patient and kind. They all are so great and deserve large raises.
After trying (insert exhausting list of medications, online gimmicks I mean clinics, and various meditation apps and therapy spanning nearly a decade), this is the place that finally made me feel like myself again. They are very attentive, responsive, supportive, flexible and extremely convenient with scheduling via text/email/online portal. Needless to say they are adaptive to your needs and the world around you. It’s nice to have an institution that prioritizes your mental health, providing a full scan upon every visit before moving on to your physical and more concerned with your well-being than the company you’re insured by. After five years of living in Chicago it’s safe to say I’ve finally located my PCP — thank you, Aayu of Lakeview.
The staff provided to be efficient and kind. Took care of me in a timely manner.
The environment is amazing! So welcoming and very clean. There are refreshments in the lobby as well! I was nervous coming here after some of the other reviews but they accepted my insurance with no copay. I went around 2 on a Thursday and was seen within 10 min and out in 30. Super quick and made me feel really good about trying this urgent care!
Very good service. They were very communicative throughout the process (text and telephone) and understanding when I didnt want to give out my SS# by text. Staff was very responsive and gentle during the procedure. 10/10 would get swabbed again.
This place was amazing! The staff was so kind and comforting. And for the women like me that wait 1-2 months for a gynecologist appointment, this place can do almost everything they can! (including pap and prescribing birth control) And I scheduled my appointment the day before. HIGHLY recommend.
I have been a patient here for 9 years. I’m so frustrated with this practice for the past year it has gone completely down hill. They constantly send my script to the wrong location and I have issues getting my prescription half the time. Don’t bother calling them and do everything in the message app or changed to appointments won’t be updated/corrected. I’m sick of being given the run around with them and will be looking for a new doctor after this next scheduled visit. As someone who relies on a daily medication and it being filled properly/correctly for mental health reasons they should not make it this difficult. My last in person visit they just completely forgot I was in the room waiting for blood work. I had to walk out to remind them. They keep nothing saved on file and make me go over my history and type it in every single visit. Pre 2020 I would have recommended this practice to anyone, don’t bother now. They can’t keep staff and it’s a constantly new faces of people who generally don’t know what they’re doing.
My review refers only to the Covid test since that was my only experience. When I arrived at the garage, nobody told me to follow the instructions posted on a wall near the clinic door, so I wasted my time just waiting on the other side (why dont you tell the walking people to follow the instructions as they enter and maybe greet them too?). The instructions ask you to go to a website, do a video appointment and then call another number to confirm you are there.I think it can be better organized in an easier way like other stores/clinics.
Super fast patient care with friendly nursing staff and providers. The nurse practitioner I saw was very approachable and her diagnosis was spot on. I was able to make a same day appointment online and fill out my pre appointment paper work at home. Once I was there, I was seen within 10 minutes. The nurse practitioner was so kind and empathetic for what I was going through the past week. Excellent bedside manner. I will definitely be back with any future urgent medical issues.
Things started off a bit rocky, but once I got my appointment confirmed everything else was great. I needed some specific paperwork filled out, and I got my results SUPER fast and they were able to tailor the visit to my needs. I was really impressed.
Clean, modern, everyone was super friendly, service was great!
Blood tech Maria was super accurate, polite & kind! The ladies @ the front desk were prompt & polite as well immediately upon my arrival. I was quickly processed making my COVID antibody testing experience a breeze. Thank you all for such professional service!
The folks at the Lakeview Aayu Clinic could not have been nicer! I got stuck in traffic and then went to the wrong location so I was 40 minutes late, but they very patiently helped me get there and squeezed me in! The person who did my covid swab was also very friendly and nice. I couldn’t believe how kind everyone was, especially as I’ve recently run into service people at several places who were mean for no reason. These people, on the other hand, had every right to be very annoyed but they were still as nice as can be. If I could give this places 6 stars out of 5, I would!
